Head Ski Event Manager
What is the role?
The head ski event manager is based in our new, flagship hotel in Courchevel 1850. This person is responsible for organising the face of flexiski within the hotel. Hosting the clients and making their experience better at every stage of their holiday is the team’s mission and the head ski event manager is in charge of that team.
Ski event management is a huge part of the flexiski service overseas. From the moment the clients arrive our SEMs handle every aspect of the event, from arrival, ski hire & skiing to feasting and partying. Often, SEMs will ski for the majority of most days with clients, followed by long evenings managing their events, followed by an early start doing it all over again! This role places physical demands on the team which they have to meet, whilst remaining positive and professional at all times. During an event, the ski event managers make or break the delivery of our product overseas and their work must always be of the very highest standard.
Although the role is client facing and very hands on, in addition to this they will ensure the smooth running of the administration to support the event management service. The head ski event manager is responsible for the overall organisation and timetabling of the ski event managers as well as the accounting for of all ancillary sales.
